Dr. Sirwan Mohammed Mustafa and Asst. Lecturer Rêkar Osman Rashid delivered a scientific and practical workshop entitled “The Impact of AI Technology on Artistic Creativity and Cultural Identity in Kurdish Music,” in which they highlighted recent advancements in artificial intelligence and its role in the development of the music field.
The workshop consisted of two main sections. The first section focused on the theoretical aspect, addressing the concept of artificial intelligence and its historical development as a branch of computer science. Within this section, and to illustrate the theoretical dimension, two musical works created AI technology were presented to the audience.
These works, prepared by the two supervising lecturers, demonstrated that despite relying on artificial intelligence, they were able to fully preserve the identity and authenticity of Kurdish music.
