In the first part of the workshop, which focused on the theoretical aspect, discussions addressed the complex relationship between technology and artistic creativity. It also examined the dual nature of AI as both a supportive tool for innovation, music development, and distribution, and at the same time as a challenge to the authenticity and identity of Kurdish music.

The second part of the workshop, which focused on practical applications, explored how different dimensions of AI can be utilized to enrich Kurdish music without compromising its essential cultural foundations, such as the maqam system, authentic rhythmic structures, and quarter-tone scales.

The main objective of the workshop was to introduce the AI tools and platforms currently used by composers and sound engineers, while also establishing academic guidelines to help artists maintain a balance between technological innovation and the preservation of national cultural identity.
