Assist. Prof. Dr. Amanj Ghazi and Assist. Prof. Dr. Surood Fuad Mohammed presented a scientific workshop titled “Highlighting Artificial Intelligence in the Process of Distributing Contemporary Kurdish Music.” During the workshop, they addressed the latest technological developments and techniques in the field of music.
The workshop was organized by the Fine Arts Institute of Rwandz – Music Department, held in the institute’s hall, and attended by a large number of students from the Music Department.
The session focused in detail on how to benefit from Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies in the process of distributing contemporary Kurdish music. It was emphasized how this technology can serve as a modern tool for developing melodies and music distribution in a way that aligns with international standards while preserving the authentic identity of Kurdish music.
The workshop also explored the challenges and opportunities facing music arrangers in the present era. The presenters stressed the importance of familiarizing the new generation of musicians and students with these technologies, enabling them to contribute to Kurdish art in a scientific and contemporary manner in the future.
At the conclusion of the workshop, the floor was opened for discussion, and several questions and perspectives were exchanged regarding the future of music and the role of Artificial Intelligence in transforming artistic practices.
