With the aim of developing artistic skills and introducing young people to authentic handicrafts, Volunteer.KRD, in cooperation with Kurdistan Foundation, organized a special workshop on clay work at the Central Library of Salahaddin University-Erbil. During the activity, volunteers were introduced to the basic principles of pottery and produced several handmade artistic pieces.
The workshop was supervised by Soma Tawanah Yahya Marjan, a fourth-year student in the Fine Arts Department at the College of Fine Arts, Salahaddin University-Erbil.
It is worth mentioning that the activity was attended by Assist. Prof. Dr. Sami Ismail Mustafa, Assistant Dean of the College, Dr. Tawanah Yahya Marjan, Head of Higher Education and Scientific Affairs at the College, and Dr. Mohammed Hamid Hassan, Head of the College Ranking Committee.
This creative experience, carried out through the efforts and dedication of the members of Volunteer.KRD and supported by Kurdistan Foundation, aimed to create an inspiring environment for students and young people.
At the conclusion, hopes were expressed for the continuation of such cultural and artistic activities, which contribute to enhancing the scientific and practical levels of the students of Salahaddin University-Erbil.
