During the seminar, Assist. Prof. Dr. Chyayi Kamal Saadi presented a lecture entitled “The Main Principles of Delivering a Seminar and Its Differences from a Workshop and a Symposium.” He highlighted the most important academic methods for effectively delivering knowledge and managing scientific discussions.
The seminar focused on:
- The concept of a seminar as an academic activity aimed at exchanging and sharing knowledge.
- The importance of using reliable and credible sources.
- Proper time management and clear organization of content.
- Active interaction between the presenter and the audience.
The differences between a workshop, as a practical and skills-based training activity, and a symposium, as a gathering of several specialists to exchange diverse perspectives, were also clearly explained.
At the conclusion, participants exchanged views and observations on modern presentation techniques and the art of public speaking, enriching the discussion and strengthening academic presentation skills.
