Assist. Lecturer Khakamand Majid Abdullah presented a scientific seminar titled “The Importance of the Melodica in the Kindergarten Stage,” in which he highlighted the effective role and multiple benefits of this musical instrument for children aged (3–6 years).
The seminar shed light on the fact that the melodica is one of the most suitable instruments for children, as it is small, lightweight, and easy to handle, allowing children to produce correct sounds directly with ease.
It also addressed the scientific and educational benefits of the instrument, including the development of physical skills such as breath control and strengthening finger muscles. The seminar further indicated that learning the melodica acts as a bridge to improving children’s understanding of subjects like mathematics and science, as well as enhancing their emotional and social development.
In conclusion, it was emphasized that the melodica is not merely a musical instrument, but also a tool for building a more intelligent mind and a healthier psychological state. The seminar concluded with the presentation of several scientific references related to the topic.
