Prof. Dr. Sardar Qadir, Director of the College of Fine Arts, accompanied by several faculty members and students from the Department of Sculpture, visited the art exhibition “Reflections of Ice” by the artist Hama Hashim.
The opening ceremony was part of the scientific and artistic activities of the Sculpture Department, supervised by faculty members Asst. Prof. Dr. Sami Ismail, Dr. Vinos Ismail, and M. Ashwaq Ihsan, who guided fourth-year students during the exhibition visit.
The “Reflections of Ice” art exhibition was held in the Media Hall and will continue for 10 days. During the exhibition, the artist Hama Hashim presented his latest artworks, which fall within the abstract art genre.
Students of the Sculpture Department visited the exhibition to become familiar with the artist’s works, his artistic approach, and methodology. They observed the artworks closely and learned about the creative outputs of this stage of Kurdish art, as well as the role and influence of women in these artistic works.
