Master’s Thesis Defense of Roja Hassan Salih Successfully Conducted

The master’s thesis defence of graduate student Roja Hassan Salih was held today in the hall of Prof. Dr. Hikmat Ali Mohammed at the College of Education, Salahaddin University–Erbil.
The candidate presented her thesis entitled:
“Cinema and Gender: The Bitter Representation of Women in Kurdish Film Narratives.”
The examination committee was composed of the following esteemed members:
- Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Saeed Fattahullah – Chair of the Committee
- prof. Dr. Kaifi Ahmed Abdulqadir – Member
- Asst. Prof. Dr. Zhilwan Tahir Bapeer – Member
- Asst. Prof. Dr. Dilshad Mustafa Rahim – Member and Thesis Supervisor
The defense session lasted for three academic hours, during which the candidate engaged in an in-depth scholarly discussion demonstrating academic competence and research capability. Upon deliberation, the committee accepted the thesis.
