Erbil, Tuesday (November 4, 2025)
Today, in the hall of Prof. Dr. Mohammed Aref at the College of Fine Arts, Salahaddin University, the master’s thesis defense of the student Rawand Jaafar Othman was conducted.
The thesis, entitled “The Symbolism of Metaphors in the Paintings of Kurdish Artists”, was presented.
ِAsst.Prof. Dr. Sami Ismail Mustafa chaired the scientific committee, and the members were:
- ِAsst.Prof. Dr Aras Ismail Khdir
- ِAsst.Prof. Dr Sarkawt Nureddin Ibrahim
- Dr. Twana Yahya Marjan (thesis supervisor)
After a scientific discussion that lasted three hours, the thesis was accepted.
