Three Faculty Members from the College of Fine Arts Participate in an International Conference with Two Scientific Research Papers

Erbil, Friday (April 24, 2026)

Dr. Neamat Mohammed Reda, Prof. Dr. Jawad Kazem Hanoosh, and Asst. Lecturer Ashwaq Ihsan Ramadan—faculty members from the Fine Arts Department at the College of Fine Arts—participated with two scientific research papers in the Fourth International Scientific Conference of the College of Fine Arts, Wasit University, which was held online.

The conference was organized under the title “Art Sciences between Leadership, Rooting, and the Interactivity of Knowledge Adjacencies,” in collaboration with the Association of Arab Colleges of Fine Arts, on April 14–15, 2026.

As part of their participation, the first joint research paper, presented by Dr. Neamat Mohammed Reda and Asst. Lecturer Ashwaq Ihsan Ramadan, was entitled “Manifestations of Material and Aesthetic Transformation in Ceramics and Their Role in Developing Expressive Discourse.” The study highlighted the material and aesthetic transformations in ceramic art and their impact on the development of expressive language within this field.

Meanwhile, in the second research paper, Prof. Dr. Jawad Kazem Hanoosh presented a study entitled “Designing an Educational Model Based on Elective Courses to Develop Critical and Creative Thinking Skills among Fourth-Year Fine Arts Students.” This research focused on developing an educational model aimed at enhancing students’ critical and creative thinking abilities.

It is worth noting that, following final approval, these research papers are expected to be published in the scientific journal “Journal of Fine Arts” of Wasit University, as part of the conference proceedings.
