Today, in the hall of Prof. Dr. Mohammed Arif at the College of Fine Arts, Salahaddin University, the defence of the Master’s thesis of student Kenar Fathi Karim took place.
The thesis, entitled “Folk Melodic Variations in Kurdish Orchestral Compositions”, was presented.
Prof. Dr. Nasser Hashim Beden served as the chair of the examination committee, with the participation of Prof. Asst. Dr. Mohammed Aziz Shakir Zaza and Prof. Asst. Dr. Chiaei Kamal Saadi as committee members, and Prof. Asst. Dr. Anis Hamoud Maeedi as member and thesis supervisor.
After a scientific discussion that lasted three hours, the thesis was accepted.
