Today, in a special ceremony, Prof. Dr. Sardar Qadir, Dean of the College of Fine Arts at Salahaddin University, presented certificates of appreciation and recognition to the main staff members of the short film “The Tailor,” in recognition of their artistic and academic efforts.
This honor comes after the film, produced as a practical project by the Department of Cinema and Theatre, achieved an important accomplishment at the Kurdistan level by winning the award for Best Actress for actress Reza Mohammad during the Kurdistan Short Film Festival (KSFF) held in Sulaymaniyah.
During the ceremony, the Dean of the College presented appreciation certificates to the following individuals who played key roles in the success of the project: Barzan Younis (Director), Dana Mohammad Abdullah (Project Supervisor), Reza Mohammad (Actress and Award Winner), and Kodo Hussein (Director of Photography).
It is worth mentioning that the short film “The Tailor” was screened at City Cinema in Sulaymaniyah from April 11 to 13, 2026, where it attracted the attention of audiences and the festival jury alike.
