Today, Prof. Dr. Sardar Qadir, Dean of the College of Fine Arts, expressed his appreciation and gratitude to Asst. Lecturer Gazang Mohammed Abdulwahid, the supervisor and coordinator of the activity, as well as to the dedicated and talented students who voluntarily participated in the artistic and humanitarian event entitled “The Art of Colors, the Melody of Voices, and Performance: Bringing Light to Children’s Hearts”, which was held at the Orphanage House in Erbil.
The Dean praised the students from all three departments (Plastic Art, Music, and Cinema & Theater) and emphasized that this initiative represents a practical reflection of the idea that true creativity emerges when art and knowledge unite with humanity.
He also stated that the College of Fine Arts always takes pride in its professors and students who dedicate their creative abilities to humanitarian service and bring smiles to the faces of children.
It is worth mentioning that the activity involved (10) students from the Fine Arts Department, (9) students from the Music Department, and (2) students from the Cinema and Theater Department. Through various artistic performances such as face painting, musical performances, and mascot shows, they succeeded in creating an atmosphere full of joy and hope for the children at the orphanage.
