With the aim of developing the scientific and artistic capacities of students in the second, third, and fourth stages of the Ceramics Branch – Department of Plastic Arts at the College of Fine Arts, Salahaddin University, a scientific field trip was organized today under the supervision of Assis. Teacher. Dana Salahaddin, lecturer in the Ceramics Branch, to the Erbil Citadel and the Cultural House of Cihan University.
As part of the visit to the Cultural House of Cihan University, the artist Shirin Khazarpour, as a specialized artist, welcomed the college delegation. In a dialogue session with the students, she spoke about her artistic efforts in serving Kurdish art in general, and plastic/visual arts in particular.
She also provided a detailed explanation of the working processes in the field of ceramics, enabling students to closely familiarize themselves with the technical aspects of ceramic production and the different types of ceramic kilns, which represent a fundamental and essential part of preparing artistic works.
