This artistic work was created at the request of the Kurdistan Women’s Union and carried out by the artist Aram Nasir, a lecturer in the Department of Fine Arts at the College of Fine Arts, Salahaddin University. The statue, standing 3 meters high, was installed in the center of Khanaqin city as a symbol of the resistance and struggle of Kurdish women.

It is worth mentioning that Aram Nasir is one of the specialized lecturers at the college, and this new artistic achievement was presented as a tribute to the pure blood of the martyrs and in honor of the proud history of the Kurdish people.
