Yesterday, Tuesday, Assis.Teacher.Jwan Bahadin Mohammedraouf, in a scientific seminar entitled “Animal Movement in Theatre Training”, highlighted one of the most effective acting techniques that helps the actor move beyond their ordinary physical form and reach a new level of embodiment.
During the seminar, the stages of working on Animal Work (Animal Work) were discussed in detail. This process begins with careful observation of animal behavior and gradually progresses to transferring those physical qualities into a theatrical character. It was emphasized that these exercises not only enhance physical abilities such as balance, flexibility, and strength, but also help actors break free from repetitive everyday movements.
At the conclusion, a scientific discussion took place between the attendees and the presenter regarding the impact of this type of training on developing both the physical and psychological aspects of the actor.
