Erbil, Monday (March 2, 2026)
Representing Prof. Dr. Kamaran Younis Mohammed Amin, President of Salahaddin University-Erbil , Assist. Prof. Dr. Sami Ismail, Assistant Dean of the College of Fine Arts, visited the University of Diyala and signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the two universities.
During the visit,Assist Prof. Dr. Sami Ismail and Assist. Teacher. Alwand Dilshad Najib, a lecturer at the College of Fine Arts, were warmly received by Prof. Dr. Tahseen Hussein, President of the University of Diyala; Assist. Prof. Dr. Julan, Dean of the College of Fine Arts; and Assist. Prof. Dr. Hussein Shehata, Assistant Dean of the College.
In an official meeting, both sides discussed coordination and the organization of joint academic activities between the two universities. The content of the MoU and the mechanisms for its implementation in the coming stages were also highlighted.
According to the agreement, both universities will enhance joint academic cooperation in the future, particularly in the fields of postgraduate studies, scientific research, and the exchange of expertise, faculty members, and students.
