Erbil, Today(April 5, 2026)
On Monday, at the hall of (Prof. Dr. Mohammed Aref) at the College of Fine Arts, Salahaddin University, the Master’s thesis defense of the student Dana Ismail Mohammed was conducted.
The thesis, entitled “The Role of Myth and Intellectual Concepts in the Formation of Painting in the Works of Kurdish Artists”, was presented and discussed.
Prof. Dr. Rebar Saeed Rashid chaired the scientific committee, with the participation of:
- Assist. Prof. Dr. Naeema Mohammed Abdullah
- Assist. Prof. Dr. Sami Ismail Mustafa
as committee members, while Assist. Prof. Dr. Aras Ismail Khidr served as both a member and the supervisor of the thesis.
Following a rigorous academic discussion that lasted approximately three hours, the thesis was successfully approved.
