Erbil, Monday (22 October 2025)
Today, in the hall of Prof. Dr. Mohammed Aref at the College of Fine Arts, Salahaddin University–Erbil, the master’s thesis defense of student Azhy Akram Mohammed Amin was conducted successfully.
The thesis, entitled “The Piano and Its Role in Modern Musical Experiments,” was presented by the candidate.
The defense committee was chaired by Prof. Dr. Nasr Hashim Baden, and included the following members:
- Assist. Prof. Dr. Anis Hammoud Muaydi – Member
- Assist. Prof. Dr. Srood Foad Mohammed – Member
- Prof. Dr. Ihsan Shakir Zalzala – Member and Thesis Supervisor
Following a scientific discussion that lasted three hours, the thesis was approved.
