Prof. Dr. Sardar Qadir, Dean of the College of Fine Arts, along with a delegation from the College Council, visited the General Directorate of Culture and Arts in Erbil yesterday, Monday (January 22, 2025).
They were received by Mr. Farhang Ghafoor, Director General of Culture and Arts in Erbil, in the presence of Mr. Shakhawan Mustafa, Director of Erbil Cinema, and Mr. Salim Qadir, Deputy Director General of Culture and Arts in Erbil.
During a friendly meeting, discussions were held on steps to advance the artistic movement, organize joint activities, and strengthen coordination between the two sides.
Prof. Dr. Sardar Qadir expressed his appreciation for the services and activities carried out by the General Directorate of Culture and Arts in Erbil, reaffirming the readiness of the College of Fine Arts to engage in all forms of cooperation and coordination in support of art in Erbil, the capital of the region.
