College of Fine Arts Participates in the Iraqi International Forum for Innovation and Creativity

Erbil, Thursday (April 16, 2026)

Under the “Advancing Toward Peaks Through Innovation,” the 7th Iraqi International Forum for Innovation and Creativity is being held on April 15–16, 2026, in the city of Baghdad. The forum is organized in coordination with the Universities of Hilla, Kut, and Mashriq, and under the supervision of the Directorate of Research and Development.

As part of the activities of this international forum, Assist. Prof. Dr. Surood Fouad Sarraj, a lecturer at the College of Fine Arts, Salahaddin University, is participating academically. She is contributing through a joint research paper presented in collaboration with Assist. Prof. Dr. Amanj Ghazi.

The research focuses on a contemporary and significant topic entitled:
“The Role of Artificial Intelligence Systems in the Redistribution of Iraqi Traditional Songs: A Descriptive-Analytical Study.”

This participation comes ضمن the ongoing efforts of the college’s academic staff to promote knowledge exchange and to highlight the latest technological innovations in the fields of art and music at the international level.
