Dr. Ni‘mat Muhammad Raza Hussein, a lecturer in the Department of Sculpture, delivered a scientific lecture on the topic “Artistic Individuality and Its Role in Shaping the Creative Identity of Artists and Artistic Works.”
The seminar highlighted the importance of key concepts such as:
- distinguishing the artist from others,
- achieving authenticity in artistic works,
- developing creativity and experimentation,
- building an independent artistic identity,
- and increasing the value of artworks in the artistic market.
Dr. Ni‘mat Muhammad presented several examples and special images of artists, illustrating the role of artistic individuality in the uniqueness of artworks, and how distinctive characteristics and abilities give artworks their uniqueness. He also discussed artistic expression and individuality in reflecting themes and events within artistic works.
At the end of the seminar, the event was enriched by discussions, comments, and a session of questions and answers.
