Today, Prof. Dr. Sardar Qadir, Dean of the College of Fine Arts, in the presence of Assist. Prof. Dr. Sami Ismail, Assistant Dean, and Asst. Lecturer.Dana Mohammed, Head of the Department of Cinema and Theatre, welcomed the Director General of Culture and Arts in Erbil, Sirwan Othman, along with Salim Qadir, Deputy Director General, and Hiwa Suad, Head of the Erbil Theatre Department.
During the meeting, emphasis was placed on strengthening bilateral relations and maintaining continuous coordination between the college and the directorate, with the aim of developing artistic and cultural activities in the city of Erbil and across Kurdistan.
Later, as part of the visit, the Dean of the College and the guest delegation attended the Master’s thesis defense of the student Farhan Hassan Ahmed, entitled “The Reflection of Critical Colors in Kurdish Theatre Performances.”
