Erbil, Sunday (March 8, 2026)
Today, at the (Prof. Dr. Mohammed Arif Hall) in the College of Fine Arts, the Master’s thesis defense of the student “Chia Bistoon Hamed” was conducted.
The thesis was presented under the title “The Phenomenon of Violence in Kurdish Sculpture Art.”
Prof. Assist. Dr. Sirwan Rafaat Ahmed served as the chair of the scientific committee for the defense. The committee members included Prof. Assist. Dr. Barzan Ahmed Nasrullah and Prof. Assist. Dr. Awat Saeed Fattah.
Prof. Assist. Dr. Falah Hassan Hussein was a committee member and the supervisor of the thesis.
After an academic discussion that lasted three hours, the thesis was approved.
