Department Plastic Art Supports for Students with Disabilities:

The department is committed to creating an inclusive environment that fosters creativity and expression for all students. Various resources and accommodations are available to ensure that students with disabilities can fully participate in artistic endeavors and receive the support they need to thrive in their studies:

1. Academic support, taking into account the health and special circumstances of students with disabilities if necessary, such as extra time for examinations, technical assistance, and continuous support and encouragement to train and develop their abilities and talents. In addition to these accommodations, integrating technology in the classroom can further enhance learning experiences, allowing students to explore their creative potential in innovative ways. By providing access to adaptive tools and resources, educators can create a more inclusive environment that values each student’s unique contributions.

2. Psychosocial support services to help students adapt to university life through special committees formed at the college and department levels to study social issues that are of general concern to all students, especially those with disabilities. These services aim to create a more inclusive environment, fostering a sense of belonging and community. By addressing both academic and emotional needs, institutions can empower students with disabilities to thrive in their educational journeys.

3. Participate in initiatives and activities, such as workshops and art exhibitions, to promote the active participation of students with disabilities, in addition to training programs in various fields and other artistic activities. These efforts not only enhance the skills and confidence of these students but also raise awareness among the broader student body. By encouraging collaboration and creativity, schools can help dismantle barriers and cultivate a culture of acceptance and understanding.

4. Take initiatives to promote awareness and understanding of physical disability issues in general for all staff, the college, and students in the college and assist the families of students with disabilities. This can be achieved through workshops, informational sessions, and resource distribution that highlight the challenges faced by individuals with disabilities. Additionally, fostering an inclusive environment will encourage open dialogue and collaboration among all members of the college community.

5. Collaborate with specialized organizations and centers in supporting and developing the skills of people with disabilities, as well as serving those with disabilities outside the college through artistic activities.
